You create interesting work and know you should protect your intellectual property, but how?
Marci Rolnik Walker, Legal Director of Lawyers for the Creative Arts, will give a brief presentation identifying different strategies to protect intangible rights in what you create, followed by a Q and A session.
Marci is an arts advocate who has advised artists, authors, musicians, filmmakers, designers, writers, inventors and other creators for over a decade, and she brings her unique experience to bear on how to best protect your work, manage costs and find pro bono or affordable legal help.
This program is hosted at Chicago-Kent College of Law and sponsored by its Patent Hub, where inventors can obtain legal help to file patent applications. Inventors, artists of all disciplines, students, faculty and lawyers are all welcome to attend.
