Luna Negra Dance Theater opens its 10th Anniversary celebration with an exhilarating evening of movement and stories revealing the essence of human conflict in all its shapes.

The program features There is a Time, a masterwork by Jose Limon, one of the most prominent American choreographers (of Latino origin) in modern dance; the World Premiere of Deshar Alhat (Leave Sunday) with live music by Stefani Valadez, a ground-breaking work by Eduardo Vilaro exploring the mesmerizing music of the Ladino tradition; and a new work by emerging Mexican choreographer Francisco Avina in collaboration with Stephanie Martinez.
