Yoga Now Workshops with Jonathan Meyer sept 20

These workshops focus on movement from capoeira supported by the information offered by Body-Mind CenteringR, with direct application to yoga.  Capoeira is a Brazilian dance and martial art with significant use of inversion.  Body-Mind CenteringR is a system of experiential anatomy and developmental movement pioneered by Bonnie Bainbridge-Cohen (www.bodymindcentering.com). 

Jonathan Meyer has studied contemporary dance,capoeira, yoga, gymnastics, and Body-Mind CenteringR.  He is artistic director of Khecari Dance Theatre (www.khecari.org).  Workshops will build upon each other but may be taken independently.  jonathan@khecari.org.

Developmental Movement: Saturday September 20th, 5-7pm
This workshop utilizes developmental movement to address alignment in inversions and side support.  Focus is on revisiting these basic patterns, to find greater ease and clarity.
