The 54th Chicago International Film Festival will bring more than 150 films from across the globe to the AMC River East 21, 322 E. Illinois from Oct. 10-21. Opening with Beautiful Boy starring Steve Carell and Timothée Chalamet, and concluding with The Front Runner starring Hugh Jackman, the Festival will feature several highly anticipated films including George Tillman Jr.’s The Hate U Give, Joel Edgerton’s Boy Erased and Steve McQueen’s Widows. The Festival will also feature special in-person tributes to legendary director William Friedkin, renowned actress Carey Mulligan, acclaimed costume designer Ruth E. Carter and more. Tickets will range in price from $8 to $20, with special event tickets ranging from $25 to $150. Parking will be available at AMC River East 21, 322 E. Illinois Street.
