Arsenic and Old Lace Costume Party and Benefit for Synapse
Friday, October 12, 2018 - 7:00pm to 11:00pm

Cheers to 14 years

Join us for macabre fun, drinks, food, and live music to celebrate our 14th season!

Enjoy candlelit performances by Brooklyn Britches and The Whispers, spooky sweets, an open bar, and light fare with the dancers, staff, and board of Synapse Arts.

Costumes are encouraged, but not required. You could wear 40s vintage, black and white, film noir, any halloween costume, or become a character directly from the movie - dark comedy is welcome.

  • 7pm The party begins! Enjoy an open bar including "elderberry wine" (minus the arsenic), hors d'oeuvres, vintage candies, and screenings of the movie "Arsenic and Old Lace"

  • 8 - 9:30pm Live performances by sultry jazz band Brooklyn Britches and The Whispers

  • 10pm Costume contest winners announced!

Ticket sales and donations benefit Synapse Arts, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that creates, performs, and educates dancers of all ages and abilities. All contributions are tax-deductible.
