A Piece A Day Workshop with Nicole Jacquard

Monday, July 30, 2018 (All day) to Thursday, August 2, 2018 (All day)

Concept and Experience

Idea generation is essential to any artistic practice. The constant battle that artists engage in while in their studio can be isolating and even daunting. In this workshop, you will approach the studio each day as a fresh, blank slate, in which to work, re-work, and ultimately complete a piece within 24 hours.

Each day will consist of something new, including starting points for exploraiton, daily demonstrations of basic metalsmithing techniques, experimentation with traditional and unusual materials, as well as short readings to help process ideas for the development of future work.

Open to all levels.
