Robbie Fulks performs live at the American Writers Museum and discusses American songwriting
Saturday, December 1, 2018 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm

The AWM welcomes Grammy-nominated Robbie Fulks to discuss songwriting, his writing process, and the impact songwriting has had on American writing as a whole, as well as perform his music live. The special evening will include whiskey tastings from Heaven's Door, an "award-winning collection of handcrafted American whiskeys developed in partnership with Bob Dylan."

Fulks appears as part of the AWM's Singers & Songwriters series in conjunction with our forthcoming exhibit BOB DYLAN: ELECTRIC. Combining musical performance and literary discussion, the Singers & Songwriters series takes visitors to the intersection of music, poetry, lyricism, and beyond.

Robbie Fulks is a songwriter, musician, instrumentalist, composer, and more. His 2017 release, "Upland Stories," earned year’s-best recognition from NPR and Rolling Stone among many others, as well as two Grammy nominations.
