YES YOU CAN! Senator Durbin, demand that banks freeze foreclosures and policymakers restructure mortgages for families put at risk by predatory loans.

Please join us for a Chicago "YES YOU CAN!" ACTION, a demonstration, part of a national "week of actions" to raise awareness, educate the public, and demand an Economic Recovery Plan for the Rest of Us, a Real Bailout for Main Street. Organized by [in formation]: Jobs with Justice, Chicago Working Group on Extreme Inequality / Institute for Policy Studies, Chicago Billionaires for the Bailout, and members of the local creative activist community.  

Bailout Mainstreet not Wall Street!  We will ask Senator Durbin to return to and support a Economic Recovery Plan for the Rest of Us. A Stimulus for Main Street: Aid to the Real Economy would include the restructuring of mortgages for families put at risk by predatory loans.  We will join in solidarity with families losing their homes to sub-prime mortgages in the area and ask for retribution.
