Audience Outreach Associate Supervisor | Steppenwolf Theatre Company

Audience Outreach at Steppenwolf Theatre Company is seeking candidates for the position of full-time hourly Audience Outreach Associate Supervisor. The primary responsibility of the Associate Supervisor will be to make phone sales of our Season Membership subscription packages and to fundraise for our community supported Annual Fund. The Associate Supervisor will also be responsible for supervising some calling shifts on a rotating schedule with the Audience Outreach Sales Manager and various administrative tasks.

Compensation and Specifications:

This position is hourly and will range from $14.50-16.00/hr commensurate with qualification and experience.  Excellent benefit package offered, including medical, dental, vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program, vacation pay, paid sick leave, personal days and 401(k) retirement program.

The position requires nights and weekend availability as shifts are Monday – Tuesday 5pm-9pm, Wednesday - Friday 1pm-5pm and Saturday 10am-2:30pm. Shift hours will be added as needed according to staffing and campaign needs. Minimum weekly hours are set at 35 hours per week.

Skills & Qualifications: 


The ideal candidate for the position is a knowledgeable and energetic sales and/or fundraising professional with an interest in non-profit theatre. Applicants must be comfortable soliciting donations and offering membership packages to our patrons over the phone. Previous experience or familiarity with Tessitura is a plus. This role will provide an amazing opportunity for the Associate Supervisor to learn and develop in a world-class theatrical organization.
