Wrightwood 659 seeks an experienced, creative self-starter for a crucial position on our small team. The Communications and Audience Development Coordinator will have primary responsibility for developing and executing strategies that expand and engage our key audiences, with the objective of increasing the number of visitors to our space, and the amount of time they spend there.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for cultivating relationships with the public, both in the Gallery and through marketing efforts, as well as day-to-day management of the Gallery’s communications, including but not limited to social media campaigns; marketing strategies that support brand management, exhibition publicity, and community engagement efforts;and outreach via newsletters and email. Tracking and evaluating the impact of these activities and demonstrating success in expanding audience size and engagement are key elements of this role.
The position requires the ability to build relationships across diverse constituencies and communities. This position reports to Wrightwood 659’s Director and works alongside other colleagues to collate information across the Gallery for optimal digital representation.
