Seeking a music director for a youth production of Wizard of Oz in Western Springs, IL. Auditions late Jan and shows in late April/early May. Stipend available. Email cd@theatrewesternsprings.com for more info/interest.
 
  • Auditions Sat Jan 26- 11:30-5:00ish & Sunday Jan 27 11:30-5:00, then callbacks 7-9.
  • Rehearsals start Feb 5th.
  • Rehearsals Tues, Wed, Thurs 7:15-9:15, Saturs 9:00-1:30pm
  • OFF SB Mar 25-29
  • Tech Rehearsals Fri April 19 Sat April 20 Sat, 5:00-9:30
  • Dress Mon-Wed April 22-24 5:00-9:30

Shows:

  • Thursday, April 25th 9:30 am and 11:45 am (school day shows)
  • April 26th 7:00 pm
  • April 27th 11:00 am and 3:00 pm
  • April 28th 3:00 pm
  • May 2nd 7:00 pm
  • May 3rd 7:00 pm
  • May 4th 11:00 am and 3:00 pm
  • May 5th 3:00 pm

Requirements
Skills & Qualifications: 
Should be
  • Able to teach parts/harmonies
  • Have a degree in theatre, music or related field
  • Experience teaching/directing youth
  • Comfortable working with Kdg-12th
  • Patient and calm
  • Able to work with large cast size
