If so, then the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago is looking for you!

We have an opening for a full-time Visitor Services Manager who will lead all Tessitura ticketing system activities and assist in maximizing the capabilities of all Tessitura products, including leading training on and expansion of Tessitura activities throughout the MCA. To be successful in this role, you must:

·Administer all Tessitura functions to enhance visitor experience, support Visitor Services/Box Office as necessary, including building admission events and promotions, and expand system usage throughout the museum.

·Act as Visitor Services liaison including collaborating on projects requiring system and reporting components, driving innovation and full use of Tessitura ticketing system, maintaining software and hardware upgrades, representing the MCA at all internal and external Tessitura meetings and events, and partnering with external agencies (Tessitura, WordFly, KlearSky, etc.) to advocate for innovations to support MCA activities.

·Track and report museum attendance and visitor services membership sales; develop and maintain year end attendance and revenue statistics library, and support yearly budgeting process.

·Manage daily museum opening, closing, and public hours; act as Visitor Services manager on duty as needed

·Sell memberships by encouraging visitors to join and current members to renew their membership.

Requirements
Skills & Qualifications: 

Desired qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, at least 3 to 5 years visitor/customer service experience, and:

·Proven experience with point of sale and ticketing systems.

·Excellent organizational and communication skills.

·Strong word/data processing experience.
