Theaters and Artists in Education stop by the Creative Reuse Warehouse!

In the last ten years I have had to find something that would look like the receiving room of a jail; about 500 Styrofoam balls; netting to cover a 50 foot proscenium stage’s underwater fantasy; 100 large sheets of fine drawing paper; buckets of colored shapes, nuts, bolts and marbles for a kindergarten class play and a full 1960’s kitchen. I went to the same place for all of it.

And what is wonderful is that everything costs next to nothing and you don’t have to keep explaining that you are in an artist in education program or doing a play or  yadayadayada. It is perfect for your everyday office supplies and quick tours of the website can give theatre people the practical solutions to creating their magic without going over non-existent budgets.

It is called Creative Reuse Warehouse 222 East 135th Place, Chicago, Illinois 60627
