Since its foundation, Casa Aztlan has served as an arts Mecca for the Pilsen Community. Casa Aztlan helped the muralist movement grow and currently houses the HACE program, Pros-arts, Nahui-Ollin, and the theater group La Cuerda Floja.

The Chicago Arts District is an approximately 12 square block area on Chicago's near Southwest side. This site features the work and bios of the many artists living and working in this area.

CSAA is an alliance of not-for-profit organizations and artists in the Chicago Southland. They promote the activities and excellence of professional and civic arts organizations as well as individual artists.

The oldest alternative exhibition space in the City, it has a long record of education outreach in the community, as well as an innovative exhibition program.

Although their website hasn't been updated for a while, the North Lakeside Cultural Center offers rehearsal and exhibition space, presenting space for theater and music, cultural programming (including performing arts classes) and a facility for rent for special events on the northeast side of Chicago.  Contact information on the website is still good.
